St. Charles County is accepting bids for the following: IFB 24-102 Justice Center Cell Lighting Relocation St. Charles County has the right to accept and/or reject any and all bids. The work to be performed under this Contract is summarized as follows: Relocate cell lighting with integrated intercoms in two housing units . The complete scope of work is as set forth in Article 2 of the Agreement. Description of Scope: St. Charles County Justice Center is making updates to the cell lighting location in housing units H & I. The project requires the relocation of the lower tier cell light in both units. Each housing unit has eleven (11) cells for a total of twenty-two (22) cells that will require electrical and low-voltage work. This work is in preparation of converting cells from single occupancy to double occupancy. This work will also incorporate the necessary wiring to relocate the cell intercom which is incorporated in the light fixture. This must also connect to the same sub control room, which houses the high security controls. The existing lights are located above the bed platform on the long side of the cell. The light will be relocated to the adjacent back wall, opposite the cell door. This location offers the ability to install new conduit and wiring from the plumbing chase on the opposite side of the wall. Alternate 1 & 2: This scope will also relocate the lights and intercom stations in the twelve (12) upper tier cells for each housing unit for a total of twenty-four (24) total cells included in the scope. Housing Unit H will be Alternate 1 and Housing Unit I will be Alternate 2.
