Lincoln Elementary Roof Repair Description: Per the construction documents, provide demolition and replacement of new (approximately 33,000 SF) Mechanically Fastened PVC Membrane Roof. Complete the Work per the schedule in the Summary of Work. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance bonds upon Notice of Award in order to secure the Work. Construction Documents shall be available by contacting UPEA at (906) 635-0511 or jgagnon@upea.com. Bidders may purchase documents from UPEA for a non-refundable handling fee of $20 for a hard copy or free for a pdf. SYSTEM DESCRIPTION A. General: Provide installed roofing membrane and base flashings that remain watertight; do not permit the passage of water; and resist specified uplift pressures, thermally induced movement, and exposure to weather without failure. B. Material Compatibility: Provide roofing materials that are compatible with one another under conditions of service and application required, as demonstrated by roofing membrane manufacturer based on testing and field experience.
