Each bidder shall file with his bid a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bidder's Bond, for five percent (5%) of the total amount bid made payable unconditionally to the Pierce City R-VI School District. The bidder to whom a contract is awarded will be required to provide a Performance, Labor and Materials Bond for 100% of the contract in conformity with the requirements of the general provisions. Bidders must comply with the Missouri State Prevailing Wage rate referred to in the specifications. The contractor and his subcontractors will be obligated not to discriminate in employment practices. The nondiscrimination stipulations and wage rate determination are included in the contract documents. The Pierce City R-VI School District reserves the right to reject any and all as well as irregular proposals; and to waive informalities with such waivers being considered by the Pierce City R-VI School District to be in its best interest and to conform to local laws and ordinances pertaining to the letting of the construction contracts.
