PRT d.b.a. Port Authority of Allegheny County has recently implemented Business. Business is a mechanism which allows contractors and vendors to electronically submit bids on PRT d.b.a. Port Authority procurement events. It is a system of modules that provides everything from procurement to contract management and you will see advantages like these: o Monitor Invoice Payments o Improved Purchasing Process o More Fluid, Automated and Single System Return Authorization o Automated RFP/Bid Process Including Bidding, Procurement Contracts & Purchase Orders o The Latest Technology from Workflow to E-mail Notification to Approval Process. The implementation of Business represents a change in the method of the competitive bidding process; however, the PRT d.b.a. Port Authority must continue to adhere to stringent governmental and internal procurement regulations. This Specification outlines the requirements to furnish third-party inspection and testing services required to maintain Pittsburgh Regional Transit's (PRT's) compliance with the current Commonwealth of Pennsylvania regulations covering inspections of elevators, escalators, and wheelchair lifts, complete as specified herein. The Contract duration will be three (3) years. PRT reserves the right to add or delete locations/equipment within Allegheny County at any time during this Contract. Question Deadline 05/20/2024
