The roads will then be restriped. All prepwork will be done by Newaygo County Road Commission (NCRC) prior to project start. All of these items of work shall be done as they apply throughout the project or as directed by the Engineer. The Contractor is to review the NOTICE TO BIDDERS FOR FIXED PRICE-VARIABLE SCOPE CONTRACTING which describes the manner in which the project will be executed during construcOon. The pay items and quanOOes in the Schedule of Items are esOmated to equal the pre-established total contract amount. This work is idenOfied in the Project Log as Priority 1 work. The work contained in this log has been divided into 2 prioriOes. The base bid (items included within the schedule of items) includes all items within Priority 1. Once Priority 1 work has been completed, the final limits of remaining work will be adjusted as work progresses, actual quanOOes are measured and the construcOon costs are tracked with cost not to exceed the pre-established total contract amount.
