Providing for the Excavation and Hydraulic Placement of Approximately 1,200,000 Cubic Yards of Beach Fill at Jupiter Island, Florida. The Available Borrow Area Lies Approximately 10,000 Feet Offshore of the Island in the Atlantic Ocean. The Base Bid Fill Areas Are Delineated on the Contract Plans. The Total Contract Fill Areas Will Be Determined Upon Evaluation of Contract Bids, Based on Prevailing Beach Conditions, Contract Price, and Contractors Proposed Construction Schedule. Furthermore, the Town Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids or to Waive Any and All Technicalities or Informalities. Bids Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified Check, or Bid Bond In an Amount Not Less Than 5% of Bid.
