Bridge Maintenance and Repair (421)39-12-00930 Reinforced Concrete Arch Clinton County - on Us 421 Over Cripe Run, 1.76 Miles South of Sr 26 Qualifications: D(A) All Bidders Must Be Prequalified and Have Proper Qualifications and Bidding Capacity. INDOT- Call 490 - Bridge Maintenance and Repair - US 421 This report presents the results of our geotechnical engineering investigation and pavement coring services for the proposed US 421 Over Cripe Run Bridge Rehabilitation project. The Bridge Rehabilitation project along US 421 in Ross Township, Clinton County, Indiana. The project limits are planned to be approximately 300 feet in each direction from the bridge. Pre-Bid Meeting Date Not Applicable Contractors shall submit contract specific questions by completing the Question Form accessed from http://entapps.indot.in.gov/cqa/ The Department will attempt to have an answer on-line within two business days. Contract specific questions asked by any other method will not be answered by the Department. Retrieve the Question and Answer Form for a specific contract by going onine in the same manner you retrieve Contract Information Books and Plans. http://erms.indot.in.gov/viewdocs/ will display the interface used for selection of contract letting documents. For the document category, Select "Q and A Form". Descriptive project location information including directions from the nearest intersection: From Indianapolis: Take I65 North for 44.3 miles to Exit 158 to IN 28. Head east on IN 28 for 5.9 miles to Roy Scott Pkwy (S Co Rd 200) and head north. Continue on same road for 1.7 miles to intersection with US 421. Head north on US 421 and continue for 7.1 miles to project site. Bridge rehabilitation - Spot patching will be performed under the arch, 35' wide and 40' long, and only require temporary impacts below OHWM. Existing riprap will stay in place, no new riprap.Temporary impacts include access to shotcrete patch cracks under the arch and below OHWM. Temporary impact length is 45' along stream and temporary impacts below OHWM are 0.010 acres.
