The City of Kansas City, Missouri by and through its Aviation Department ("City" or "KCAD") invites you to submit a proposal for development of 21+/- acres of property located at the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport (MKC)/Lima Development Area. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation is to select a qualified developer or development team with proven experience, financial resources, capability, and professional expertise to present a high quality, financially feasible development proposal for the site. It is anticipated that the MKC Master Plan will be approved in the third quarter of 2024. When the MKC Master Plan is approved an Addendum will be issued by the City formally establishing the deadline of the RFP to be submitted. Questions Due Date: Never The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
