Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Frisco, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a parking garage; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project consists of the construction of a new downtown plaza space (approximately 1.6 acres) featuring a variety of program and utility improvements between the streets of 3rd Street to the west, 5th Street to the east, Oak Street to the north, and Elm Street to the south. The "4th Street Plaza" project will include an outdoor performance area with stage and open activity lawn, adjoining a one-story restroom and storage structure, gateway features, custom and manufactured site furnishings, "trough-style" water fountains, raised and at-grade landscape beds with irrigation, and three (3) custom fabric shade structures with brick paving pathways throughout. In addition to the programmatic improvements, the plaza space will include franchise utility connections and new domestic utility connections including water, sanitary, stormwater, gas, and electrical connections to service site lighting and A/V. Associated demolition, grading, erosion control, and traffic control will be required for construction of 4th Street Plaza. Construction of 4th Street Plaza will occur while adjacent public improvement projects are under construction. Bidders shall familiarize themselves with the Main Street Improvements Project (Proposal Number 2403-075) and the Parking Garage Project adjacent to the plaza site.
