Successful bidder will meet with school upon notice of award and will schedule with same. Demolish and dispose of existing west bleachers. Remove all debris and dispose of in an environmentally sound manner. School compactor will not be utilized for this task. Furnish new fully retractable and extendable (telescoping) wall-attached bleacher. Furnish three (3) pendant bleacher controllers. New furnished unit will be fully ADA compliant. New unit will be manufactured by a company specializing in the construction of bleachers and in currently in business. Project close out will finalize within 6 months of construction start unless a long-lead availability situation occurs. Successful bidder will demonstrate all aspects of new bleacher. Successful bidder will warrantee all aspects of new bleacher for the period of one year. A separate option for extended warrantee will be offered to the school at cost. Successful bidder will furnish all product documentation at the end of the project. Successful bidder will obtain all permits and respect all construction requirements of the CPS. Successful bidder will maintain a safe and clean environment throughout construction. Contractor is to remove and dispose of materials torn out and any construction debris. Contractor to secure necessary permits. Contractor to field verify dimensions and specifics of all projects listed above before placing bid. Not responsible for contractor errors as a result of non-field verification. Materials and installation must comply with CPS Standards and Specifications as listed on All trash must be removed off-site by contractor. Clean the surrounding area and make sure all is swept of debris. All questions/requests must be received two (2) business days prior to bid closing. Secure job site overnight if work is not completed in one day. If building or CPS properties are damaged during construction, contractor to replace and/or repair as necessary. Provide necessary labor and materials to fix/correct issues preventing any or all of the projects to be marked as completed.
