As of July 31, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. For improvements to the Nordhoff High School Aquatic Center ("Project"). The Project includes a swimming pool, classroom buildings, pool equipment building and all associated work. The estimated construction budget is Thirteen Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($13,400,000) with an estimated performance period of Eight (8 months The winning proposal will be determined based on the "best value" competitive procurement process under Education Code section 17400 et seq., whereby the LLB firm is evaluated and selected by the District based on a combination of price and qualifications of the LLB firm. The District has retained PJHM architects to prepare designs and plans for the construction of a 35 meter swimming pool intended for school use and CIF competitions. The facilities will include the pool and related equipment, two team rooms, bathrooms, showers, a ticket kiosk, coaches office, viewing bleachers and storage. This Project will be constructed using the lease-leaseback project delivery method authorized by Education Code section 17400 et seq. The District has contracted with PJHM architects to be the Architect of Record for the Project, and the lease-leaseback Contractor will be expected to provide lease-leaseback construction services for the Project as described below: The estimated construction budget for this Project is $ 13,400,000 and the estimated performance period is 365 days.
