Site work for a road / highway in Becancour, Quebec. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Road work in various sectors of the City: Lot 1: Inter-sector cycling links (lot 1) - construction of a cycle path linking the sectors of the village of Saint-Grégoire from rue Noël to the existing cycle path of the Godefroy estate, passing over Highway 30 with a prefabricated metal footbridge. The proposed route passes by an old railway line and an existing access road. Lot 2: Leblanc Road Bike Path - St-Grégoire Sector: Development of a two-way bike path on Leblanc Road between Boulevard des Acadiens and Boulevard du Danube with protective devices and road markings over approximately 8,700 linear metres. Possibility of channeling ditches and replacing entrance culverts and widening Leblanc Road in part or in full to improve user safety. Addition of signage to limit the speed of motorists. TIMELINE: Project is being developed in phases (lots). Project is included in the capital plan for 2026-2028. Inter-sector cycling links work is scheduled for 2026-2027. Project will be next updated if/when approved to tender.
