The Scope of Work for this project consists of renovating existing tennis courts at the Pavilion Recreation Complex, to include repairing all cracks, resurfacing, coloring, striping, replacing existing tennis net posts and restoring fencing. To meet the requirements for this project, the Contractor shall: A. Complete this project within ninety days (90) of issuance of the Notice to Proceed, or ninety days (90) of consistent working weather. B. Provide evidence of the General Contractor's License and any specialty licenses required to complete this project, if applicable. C. Furnish all materials, equipment, machinery, tools, apparatus, means of transportation, licenses, and labor necessary to prepare the court for resurfacing in accordance with project specifications Question Deadline 05/23/2024 at 3:00 PM ET All inquiries regarding this proposal shall be submitted via Online. Tentative Date of Award June 14, 2024 The County of Greenville is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to renovate six (6) existing tennis courts at the Pavilion Recreation Complex, located at 400 Scottswood Road, Taylors, SC 29687. This project requires a Bid Bond and a Performance/Payment Bond. Proposers shall submit with their proposal, a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid price. This bond may be in the form of Bid Bond from the American Institute of Architects (AIA), electronically through Surety 2000, Certified Check, Cashier's or Bank Money Order of any national or state bank and shall be made payable to Greenville County. Proposals submitted without being accompanied by any of the foregoing as required, may be considered informal and may be rejected. Any proposal accompanied by a bid bond not properly executed in the opinion of the County Attorney, may be rejected. The bond will be forfeited to the County by the successful bidder as liquidated damages in case a proposal award is made to that bidder and the contract and bond are not promptly and properly executed. The County desires for this project to commence on August 8, 2024 and for work to be completed in accordance with the specifications contained herein, within ninety (90) days of issuance of the Notice of Proceed/consistent working weather for asphalt.
