Site work for a civil project in Coteau-du-Lac, Quebec. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Upgrades, repairs and increase of the capacity of the owner's wastewater treatment plant. The scope of work includes upgrades of the existing sewage treatment plant to accommodate wastewater from the populations expected in the next 10 years. The work involves transforming the existing wastewater treatment plant into an activated sludge system by reusing one of the two existing ponds as a biological reactor and constructing two secondary settling tanks. TIMELINE: The owner has awarded a civil engineering professional consultant for design and construction work monitoring of the project. Preliminary studies and conceptual design are underway. Preliminary plans are expected to begin in spring 2025. Timelines of further project development are being finalized. Note. According to the owner's preliminary scheduling construction will not begin before early/spring 2027.
