The City of Newark, Department of Engineering, Is Soliciting Through the Fair and Open Process in Accordance With the New Jersey "Local Unit Pay to Play" Law N.j.s.a. 19:44a-20.4 Et Seq., Requests for Proposal ("Rfp) for: the City of Newark, Department of Engineering and Department is Seeking for a Design Professional Firm to Prepare Construction Documents, for the Community Resource Center That Meets the Needs of the City of Newark. Public Bid Services and Construction Administration/management for the Construction Documentation for the Newark Drop-in and Resource Center. The Construction Documents Shall Include, but Not Limited to the Services of Field Investigation, Feasibility Report, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineers and Any Other Specialized Design Professional Relatable to the Scope of Work Outlined in This Rfp Awards made under the Fair and Open Process shall be made to those Respondents whose responses are most advantageous to the City of Newark. Factors include but are not limited to experience and/or reputation in the field, knowledge of the agency and the subject matter to be addressed under the proposal and contract, and other factors if determined to be in the best interest of the City of Newark. All awards are subject to Municipal Council Approval. If awarded a contract, your company/firm shall be required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. Director of Engineering The City of Newark reserves the right to waive any and all formalities or altogether reject any RFP Response as is in the best interest of the City.
