Roof edge will need to be flush with the face of the block wall. Some demo will be required of the lightweight concrete and decking to wall face. The roof edge will need to be cut back approximately 3.5" for the required wood blocking system. Contractor must verify these measurements. Install new wood blocking system. This system must be the same height as the existing roof. Remove tar and gravel from the roof edge at a minimum of 12" wide. Install new roof piles. A new gutter will need to be installed and must match existing. The new drip edge will need to be installed at the edge of the gutter using manufacturer recommended adhesion methods. Install the cap sheet over the new drip edge. Install new gutter downspouts. Brick and block walls must remain perpendicular to roof line and the face of the block wall. Install the wood blocking and coping at the top each wall. Location: Coroner's Office Remove gravel from roof edge. The roof edge will need to be cut back approximately 3.5" for the required wood blocking system. Contractor must verify these measurements. Some demo will be required to prepare edge for repairs. Install a new wood blocking system. This system must be the same height as the existing roof. Remove tar and gravel from the roof edge at a minimum of 12" wide. Install new roof piles. A new gutter will need to be installed and must match existing. The new drip edge will need to be installed at the edge of the gutter using manufacturer recommended adhesion methods. Install the additional cap sheet over the new drip edge. Location: Sheriff's Office Roof edge will need to be removed back to the existing expansion joint. Lightweight concrete and decking will need to be removed back to the existing block wall. (1) bar joist will need to be removed. The (2) existing hall block walls will need to be removed to match existing wall edge. New wood blocking will need to be installed and must match the height of the existing parapet wall /coping cap. Install the new coping. Try and match the existing coping. The contractor shall transport and provide all labor, equipment and materials required to complete the project. Return site to original condition. The contractor must coordinate all work with the facilities department.
