Bridge replacements on US 51 between SR 35 and the holmes county line (bridge nos. 168.2, 169.5, 169.6, 169.9, 170.0, & 170.1), known as federal aid project no. BR -1681-00(025) / 106102301 in carroll county. Project Completion : 373 Working Days Value Estimate Range - $20,000,000 - $25,000,000 For Federal Aid Projects the attention of bidders is directed to the contract provisions governing selection and employment of labor contained in the bid proposal. Minimum wage rates for Federal Aid Projects have been predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and are subject to Public Law 87-581, Work Hours Act of 1962, as set forth in the contract provisions. Unless otherwise set out in the bid proposal, all other projects are subject to the predetermined minimum wage rate set by the U.S. Department of Labor under the Fair Labor Standards Act. When a DBE goal is contained in the contract, the award will be contingent upon the Contractor satisfying the DBE requirements. Bid bond, signed or countersigned by a Mississippi Resident Agent or qualified non-resident agent, with Power of Attorney attached or on file with the Contract Administration Engineer of the Department, a Cashier's Check or Certified Check for five (5%) percent of bid, payable to State of Mississippi, must accompany each proposal. The attention of bidders is directed to the provisions of Subsection 102.07 pertaining to irregular proposals and rejection of bids. MSDOT - Bridge Replacements - US 51 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This project consists of grading and installing drainage structures necessary to construct approximately 6 miles of parallel lanes on SR 31 between the Hinds County Line and the Rankin County Line. As consideration for this Contract, the Commission agrees to pay the Contractor the amount(s) set out in the Proposal attached hereto. Said payment will be made in the manner and at the time(s) specified in the Specifications and/or Special Provisions, if any. In exchange for said consideration, the Contractor hereby agrees to accept the prices stated in the Proposal as full compensation for the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment, and the execution of the scope of work identified for this referenced Project as contemplated in this Contract.
