Renovation of a fire / police facility in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Scope of Work: The County Fire Department requests to replace all windows and exterior doors with Hurricane Rated assemblies in addition to replacing the exterior siding and trims which have exceeded typical life expectancy and failed. Question Submission Deadline: June 11, 2024, 5:00pm Bid Security shall be made payable to COUNTY, in an amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidders Total Bid and in the form of a certified or cashiers check, or a Bid Bond issued by a Surety meeting the requirements of these Bid Documents. The COUNTY reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and waive any and all irregularities, and the right to disregard any or all nonconforming, unbalanced or conditional Bids or counter proposals. The general scope of work will be to replace the existing vinyl siding and associated wood trim materials, on all walls and ceilings with a new James Hardie fiber cement trim and siding product and the replacement of all windows and door units on the exterior of the building, using commercial style hurricane rated, impact resistant windows and doors.
