Working plans call for the demolition of a transportation facility; for the construction of a transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; for outdoor lighting for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

**As of July 8, 2024, project will rebid. No definite date for the rebid.** This project generally consists of construction of a new general aviation terminal building, landside sitework, and aircraft apron reconstruction and widening at the Valdosta Regional Airport. The Base Bid for the Project includes the general aviation terminal building, new entry roadway modifications, parking, utilities, fencing and other site improvements. The Base Bid will also include demolition of the existing General Aviation Terminal Building upon completion of the new building. Additive Alternate Bid No. 1 includes the aircraft apron reconstruction and widening utilizing an asphalt pavement section for all new pavements, as well as grading, base course, storm drainage, erosion control and airfield edge lighting and airfield signage. Additive Alternate Bid No. 2 includes the aircraft apron reconstruction and widening utilizing a concrete pavement section for the apron reconstruction and an asphalt pavement section for the apron widening, as well as grading, base course, storm drainage, erosion control and airfield edge lighting and airfield signage. Bid security in the form of a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid is required. Bidders must submit bids for all Bid Items.
