Completed plans call for the addition of a 2,386-square-foot, two-story above grade medical facility; for the demolition of a medical facility; for the renovation of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.

Question Deadline 05/29/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the Architect's attention. You are invited to bid on General Construction, Plumbing, Heating Ventilating & Air Conditioning, or Electric Contract in connection with, Additions/Alterations, Office of Mental Health, Cortland County, 111 Port Watson Street, Cortland, New York 13045. Bids must be on a lump sum basis. Bids may be hand delivered to the Highway Department Offices beginning at 8:00 a.m. local time on the day of the bid opening until the time of the bid opening listed above. Bids may be mailed using regular mail to the following address: Cortland County Highway Department 60 Central Avenue Cortland, NY 13045 Bids may also be "overnight" or otherwise shipped to the following address: Cortland County Highway Department 4267 Traction Drive Cortland, NY 13045 Bids that are mailed using regular mail must be received in the regular Highway Department mail delivery one business day prior to the bid opening. Bids received after that time will not be opened and will be returned to the bidder. Such bids shall not be considered for award. Bids that are "overnight" or otherwise shipped must be received by 9:00 a.m. local time on the day of the bid opening. Bids received via "overnight' or "express" mail after this time will not be opened and will be returned to the bidder. Such bids shall not be considered for award. Bids must be submitted to the correct addresses and times listed above to be considered for award. Interested parties are invited to attend. It is anticipated that a decision will be made on or about: June 27, 2024 Note: Bid Documents may be viewed online for free at Plan & Print's "Plan Room" website. However, contractors who are bidding on the project will be subject to the above fees when bid documents are downloaded or hard copies are purchased. The Planholder's list will be available on Plan & Print's website. Bidders who request the mailing of the documents shall include, in addition to the Bidding Document fee, an additional non-refundable delivery and handling charge of $35 per set, payable by separate check to Plan and Print Systems, Inc. The request for Bidding Documents shall include the Bidder's company name, Bidder's business, and shipping address (if different), contact person(s), telephone number, email, and prime contract trade affiliation. At the time the order is placed, the plan holder shall advise Plan & Print Systems of their status as prime bidder, subcontractor, or material supplier and their trade affiliation. Postal address, telephone number, fax number and e-mail address will also be required. Addenda Addenda for this project will be e-mailed to each plan holder of record. E-mails will be from Plan & Print's "BidCaster Notification." Large addenda and addenda containing full sized drawings will be issued in hard copy format only and sent via UPS. It is the responsibility of each prospective bidder to submit an accurate e-mail address when requesting Bidding/Contract Documents and to download each addendum. The "Bidcaster Notification" will be sent to the e-mail address on record. Bid Security must accompany each Bid, in accordance with Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof but may withdraw it at any time prior to the scheduled closing time for receiving Bids. Bidders' attention is referred particularly to Governing Laws and Regulations, including Affirmative Action Requirements - Equal Employment Opportunity, Minimum Wage Rate Requirements to be paid under the Contract, Sales Tax Exemption and Safety and Health Program required by Federal Law(s). If no quota is required in the area of this project, Affirmative Action requirements do not apply. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids.
