Scope of work is to include all necessary labor, material, and equipment to construct two landscape bed areas within the northern and southern existing planting beds located in the inner courtyard at Weiskotten Hall. These areas will accommodate concrete pad bases for two statues we commissioned by an artist. The two sculpture areas will provide an ADA compliant pathway access to the statues, allowing students, staff, and visitors to interact with them without damaging the surrounding greenery. It is expected that both areas of work within the two proposed sculpture landscape beds shall be completed simultaneously in order to coordinate installation of both sculptures on the same day by the artist's installation crew. All work will need to be complete within 60 days from the notice to proceed. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 60 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
