The City of White Settlement is requesting sealed statements of qualifications from qualified Respondents to provide professional Construction Manager-At-Risk (CMAR) Services for the Town Center Façade Improvements to the City owned municipal buildings and areas at White Settlement Road and Meadow Park Drive. The City is utilizing the two step method requiring the submission of qualifications followed by the submission of proposals by no more than five qualified respondents. The City of White Settlement, Texas is requesting Statements of Qualifications for a Construction Manager-at-Risk to collaborate with the City and the architectural/engineering firm to provide preconstruction and construction services for the City's Municipal Complex Facade Project. This is a two stage process starting with the Request for Qualifications. After evaluations of the submitted Statements of Qualification (SOQ), up to five of the highest qualified respondents may be selected to receive Requests for Proposal for this project. The Request for Qualifications documents can only be modified via an addendum. The deadline to submit requests for clarifications and/or questions is by 5:00 PM CDT on May 29, 2024. The City of White Settlement assumes no responsibility for delayed or lost responses. The City is performing a refurbishment of the facades of four buildings in the City's Municipal Complex: City Hall located at 214 Meadow Park Drive; the Senior Center at 8211 White Settlement Road; the Recreation Center at 8213 White Settlement Road; and the Public Library at 8215 White Settlement Road. The project will include modifying the exteriors of the buildings, adding elements to highlight the building entrances and adding wayfinding elements to the complex grounds. Landscaping and lighting are also in consideration for this project. A construction Budget of $1,100,000.00 is allocated for the Municipal Complex Façade Project to renovate the exteriors of the four buildings comprising the municipal complex.
