Replacement of approximately 7,300 LF of 8” water main, 1,300 LF of 6” water main, 500 LF of 10” water main, 450 LF of 12” water main, 325 LF of 16” water main, and associated joints and gate valves; 24 fire hydrants; affected catch basins and catch basin leads; and replacement of approximately 130 lead impacted water service lines including exterior excavations, wall penetrations, installation of meter yoke and city supplied meter, connection to existing plumbing, plus related appurtenances and restoration work. Project also includes repairs and improvements to the Escanaba South Side Elevated Water Tower consisting of installation of detector bars on the fill/draw pipe and sample tap, overflow pipe replacement, installation of fall prevention devise and riser ladder/platform, swing gate at the roof platform opening, and other miscellaneous repairs needs.
