The City of Bowie, Maryland requests bids from experienced contractors for the replacement of cast iron pipe water mains using Class IV structural cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining in the Kenilworth neighborhood of the City. The work shall be in accordance with the Scope of Services contained in this Invitation for Bids (IFB). The City reserves the right to reject any bids if the City is not satisfied that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract. The City further reserves the right to reduce or modify the scope of the Project to meet funding limits and the City's schedule. By submission of a bid, the bidder represents that it is able to comply with all requirements contained in the Invitation for Bids. Question Deadline 05/24/2024 at 11:00 AM ET All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this Invitation for Bids shall be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at online. Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarifications will be issued no later than Friday, May 31, 2024, to all those who request the IFB. This project is partially funded by the United States Environmental Protection Agency through a grant. Accordingly, the successful bidder will be required to comply with the terms of the grant and all applicable Federal requirements. Additionally, the Contractor is required to enter into and comply with the City's Community Workforce Compliance Agreement. Prospective bidders that obtain this document from any source other than Bid Locker, should immediately register with Bid Locker to ensure receipt of addenda and other communications regarding this solicitation.
