Reference Number : 1848610 Deadline for receiving complaints: 2024-05-27 Electronically transmitted submission accepted: No The Jeanne-Mance Housing Corporation must carry out, before the end of 2024, a verification of the safety of the facades of its five buildings, each with 12 to 14 floors. The mandate given to the Consultant consists, briefly, of carrying out the inspection of the facades of the five (5) towers of the Corporation and producing a single expert report indicating that they do not represent any dangerous condition, according to the requirements of the Safety Code , Building Act (B-1.1, r3), in force since March 18, 2013. If applicable, recommendations aimed at correcting defects that could contribute to the development of dangerous conditions must be made. The mandate given to the consultant also includes the annual verification of the facades of the five (5) towers for the four (4) years following the detailed inspection (i.e. the years: 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028). This annual audit consists of a visual inspection to ensure that no facade presents a condition dangerous to public safety . The Consultant must provide all the expertise and services required for the proper execution of his Mandate.
