Renovation of an educational facility in South Harrison Township, New Jersey. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of 8/7/24 all bids rejected. A timeline for the rebid has not yet been established. Any and all contracts awarded by the District to a contractor in connection with work performed on the Harrison Township School are assignable to the New Jersey School Development Authority Bidder shall note that long-lead shop drawings are required to be initiated immediately after the issuance of Section007100 - Notice to Proceed so that those items can be ordered as soon as possible. Construction shall begin on or about 24 June 2024 and shall be substantially completed on or before 23 August 2024. Bids Must Be Made Upon Specification Section 002000, Form of Bid and Shall Include a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or by Bid Bond Drawn to the Order of the Harrison Township Board Of Education in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Base Bid but in No Case in Excess of $20,000.00. The Bid Shall Also Be Accompanied by an Executed Consent of Surety in Accordance With N.j.s.a. 18a:18a-25, Agreeing to Furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, Each in The Stated Principal Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Amount, and a Two-year Maintenance Bond in the Amount of Ten Percent (100%) of the Contract Amount. Question Deadline 06/03/2024 at 1:00 PM ET Registered Bidders Must Submit Substitution Requests or Any Questions Concerning the Project to the 7 Architect on Form 006001 Bidder Request for Information Included in the Project 8 Manual No . The Architect Will Not Respond to Questions 9 Received by Those Other Than Registered Bidders. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Department of Property and Management Construction, prior to the date that bids are received. Any bids submitted under the terms of New Jersey Statutes not including a copy of a valid and active Pre22 qualified/Classification Certificate and New Jersey Department of Labor Contractor Registration Certificate may be rejected as being non-responsive to bid requirements. In accordance with N.J.S.A 18A:18A-18, this Project is to be constructed as a Single General Construction Bid (DPMC Classification C008) or General Construction/Alterations and Additions (DPMC Classification C009) for all the work, goods, and services required to complete the public building to be included in the single contract. The General Contractor must be qualified in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. Replacement/upgrade of Existing Building Hvac Automation System (Bas) at the Harrison Township Elementary School Located at 120 North Main Street; Mullica Hill, New Jersey 08062. An Electronic Copy of the Specifications and Drawings Will Be Made Available to Bidders; Hard Copies of the Bidding Documents Will Not Be Provided. Access to the Electronic Documents Will Be Emailed to the Bidder Upon Receipt of Their Payment and All of the Following Information: The Harrison Township Board of Education Has the Right to Award the Contracts Within Sixty (60) Days of the Bid Opening and Reserves the Right to Reject All Bids in Accordance With N.j.s.a. 18a:18a-22 and to Waive Minor Informalities or Non-material Exceptions, as May Be Permitted by Law.
