Sumneytown Pike Water Main Replacement Application Number 23032 Question Deadline 05/31/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing via PennBid. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project consists of the installation of approximately 2,350 linear feet of 16" ductile iron water main, 295 linear feet of 12" DIP water main, 662 linear feet of 1" Type K copper water service pipe, 19 copper water services, all appurtenances, roadway, and lawn restoration along Sumneytown Pike from Supplee Road to South Broad Street in Upper Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County, PA. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of North Wales Water Authority, or a Bid Bond in favor of North Wales Water Authority in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. BIDDERS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF Executive Order No. 11246, "Equal Employment Opportunity", as amended by Executive Order No. 11375, "Amending Executive Order 11246 Relating to Equal Employment Opportunity", and implementing regulations at 41 CFR 60, "Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, Equal Employment Opportunity, Department of Labor. Copies of Executive Orders 11246 and 11375 are included in the Specifications. This Contract is expected to be funded in parts with funds from the COVID-19 ARPA H2O PA. Neither the United States, nor the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Commonwealth Funding Authority, nor any of their departments, agencies, or employees is, or will be a party to the Contract or any lower tier contract or subcontract. The Contract or Subcontract will be subject to 2 CFR 200 Subparts B, C, D, E and Appendix II, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standard Act, Copeland Act, Davis Bacon Act, Debarment and Suspension, Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment and all other applicable federal and state statutes and regulations. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. The North Wales Water Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
