The Contractor shall adhere to the following requirements: 1. Scope of work includes procuring and delivery of the following electrical equipment as specified in the attached Equipment Technical Specifications of this Requisition. The equipment includes: a. 1x NEMA 3R Automatic Transfer Switch, Service Entrance Rated, 1200A b. 1x NEMA 3R Utility Transformer, Liquid-Filled, 3-Phase 750kVA 160-480Y/277V c. 1x NEMA 3R Medium Voltage Switch Cabinet, 600A Main Bus 5kV Max d. 1x NEMA 3R Main Switchboard "MSB", 1200A 480Y/277V 3-Phase e. 1x NEMA 3R Panel "2PP", 60A 120/208V 1-Phase f. 1x NEMA 3R Panel "SL-1P", 100A 480Y/277V 3-Phase 2. The equipment "a" through "d" must be capable of being mounted on a platform. 3. The Contractor is responsible for delivery, unloading, and placing of items to a location specified by the Owner at the Alabama State Port Authority Main Docks location in Mobile, AL. 4. The ASPA Main Docks is a TWIC-controlled facility. All Contractor personnel who will be on-site, including all delivery drivers, must have a TWIC or make arrangements with a TWIC escort company. 5. The Contractor is to submit a delivery schedule for all equipment. 6. The Contractor is to submit product data for approval of all equipment prior to purchasing. Bond Notes: A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Alabama State Port Authority and equal to five percent (5%) of the amount bid, not to exceed $10,000, must accompany the Bid Proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Certificate of Insurance in an acceptable form. Performance Bond shall be in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price; Certificate of Insurance shall be as per the attached requirements and countersigned by a licensed resident agent in the State of Alabama. Owner Rights: Owner reserves the right to award all, some or none of the line items bid. The Port Authority reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such bidder fails to satisfy the Port Authority that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Contract. Liquidity Damages:. Failure to deliver within the specified time period will initiate liquidated damages in the amount of $150.00 per calendar day, exclusive of Sundays and National holidays.
