Route 47, Grove Street to Route 130, Pavement, Contract No. 062123050, Pavement, Boroughs of Glassboro, Pitman, and Westville, Townships of Washington and Deptford; Gloucester County; Federal Project No: NHP-0047(317), UPC No: 123050, PE No: 0835503, CE No: 0837516 Estimated Completion Date on 11/21/2028 Estimated Range between $50,000,001 to $75,000,000 Contractors Prequalified in one of these Work Types are eligible to bid this project: 2, 2b, 3, 3a or 5 Project Labor Agreement Required: No Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD Commissioner) makes an initial determination that an employer has violated the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) by paying wages at rates less than the rates applicable under that act, the LWD Commissioner may immediately issue a stop-work order to cease all business operations at every site where the violation has occurred, and may assess a civil penalty of $5,000 per day against the employer for each day it conducts business operations in violation of the stop-work order. If the stop-work order is issued against a subcontractor, the general contractor may terminate that subcontractor from the project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d). Minimum Wage Rates for This Project Shall Be as Specified in the "Prevailing Wage Determination of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development" on File With This Department. The Attention of Bidders is Directed to the Provisions Covering Subletting or Assigning The Contract to Section 108-prosecution and Completion of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Standard Specifications. The Entire Work is to Be Completed on or Before the Estimated Completion Date Stated Above. DOT reserves its right to reject any or all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 27:7-30 and N.J.S.A. 27:7-33 NJDOT: 116 - Pavement - Route 47, Grove Street to Route 130 The purpose of this study was to: Assess and analyze subsurface conditions at the proposed structure locations. Provide foundation type recommendations to be utilized in design. Provide allowable bearing capacity values and/or soil parameters for structure foundations on soil. Provide recommendations for related construction procedures. Provide soil permeability rates for stormwater management basins. The scope of services consisted of the following: 1) Collect and review existing geotechnical data. 2) Prepare a subsurface investigation program, specifications and contract documents, and to solicit the services of a boring contractor to perform the necessary drilling operations. 3) Provide on-site geotechnical engineer to monitoring the execution of the boring program and to aid in gathering geotechnical data. 4) Prepare boring logs and review subsurface data. 5) Evaluate the physical and mechanical properties of the soils from laboratory testing performed and other existing data. 6) Conduct geotechnical analysis and design of the proposed structures by correlating, evaluating, and analyzing existing data. 7) Prepare and submit a soil and foundation report with recommendations for suitable foundation systems design recommendations and stormwater management basin recommendations. In order to accomplish these purposes, we researched our files, state and county records, and available published literature, reviewed and evaluated pertinent geotechnical/geologic data, and conducted a subsurface exploration-boring program as outlined in Section 4.0. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
