Scope of Work: Complete refurbishment of existing Walk-In Refrigerator and separate Walk-In Freezer. Work shall include, new interior & exterior walls and insulation, new doors, new lighting, new interior shelving, new cooling and freezing equipment including: thermostat, evaporator, condenser, and compressor. The floor is tile and does not need to be replaced in either unit. The minimum insulation R value that shall be accepted is R30. Please note that the current walk-in refrigerator and walk-in freezer are side by side and are separate units but share the same front wall facade. The Town is seeking a contractor to refurbish an existing walk-in refrigerator and separate walk in freezer at Mark T. Sheehan High School Cafeteria Kitchen - 142 Hope Hill Road, Wallingford Connecticut 06492. Clarification Deadline 6/6/2024 5:00 Pm A Certified Check, Cashier s Check or Bid Bond in the amount stated on the contract proposal, made payable must be submitted with each bid, as a guarantee that in case the contract is awarded, the bidder will execute such contract and furnish satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Bond if required. All work must be done between Mid-July and August of 2024, with the work being completed and the units operational by August 23rd of 2024.
