INVITATION FOR BID SCOPE OF WORK FOR NEW FLOORING FOR PD OFFICES - RENO, VA 36C261-24-AP-3375 654-24-2-6135-0035
Introduction
This Statement of Work describes the requirement for installing Heavy Luxury vinyl tile (LVT), Vinyl Plank carpet tiles and new 6" cove base in Police Services - due to sewage flooding. This is located at 975 Kirman Ave, Reno NV 89502 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Sierra Nevada Hospital. The space currently has carpet tile with standard toe cove base. The area of carpet tile is roughly estimated at 1200+/- square feet not including 10% for future replacement, and rubber toe cove base 1000+/- square feet, not including 10% for future replacement. The LVT area is roughly estimated at 200+/- square feet not including 10% for future replacement. This includes procuring, set up, delivery and installation of new flooring.
Overview
This project shall consist of field measuring/verification, receiving, delivery, assembly, and installation and inspection of all flooring listed, along with ADA-compliant transitions, reducers, and cove base. Awarded vendor shall include removal of all related shipping debris and construction cleanup associated with the installation of this flooring package.
Locations
Location of flooring needed is the Police Service area. To include G1643 Team space, G1634 Operations area, G1632 Deputy Chief Office, G1633 Chief's office, G1631 Detective office and 2
G1640 Team space - carpet tiles and the hallway and G1630 Storage room with LVT. The areas of work are located within an area that is shut down at the moment, to do repair work on damaged walls, but will still require ALL contractor personnel and subcontractors to comply with safety practices of the Sierra Nevada VA Medical Center. All visitors must be scheduled and escorted. All bidders must field verify size of the areas, installation application.
Period of Performance and Working Hours
Contract completion time: 60 days (not to include shipping time)
Working hours are between 7:00AM - 3:00PM Monday through Friday. All federal holidays excluded. Federal holidays are available at the Federal Holiday OPM website.
