Demolition and site work for a residential development in Malone, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The project is being bid as a single prime contract: General Construction Scope of the project is to remove and dispose of the existing condemned structure located at: 251- 253 Park Street, Malone. The building will need to be demolished completely down to the foundation as defined in specs. An asbestos survey could not be completed, and it should be assumed that building materials are asbestos containing. The demolition of the building shall be completed with all friable asbestos in place per NYS DOL Site-Specific Variances that have been prepared by the engineer. All tipping fees will be paid for by Franklin County. Question Deadline 05/27/2024 at 3:00 PM ET Submit all questions about the bid documents to Brian Krueger at Aubertine and Currier, 522 Bradley Street, Watertown, New York 13601 by email at bmk@aubertinecurrier.com at least (3) days prior to date for receipt of bids. DISQUALIFICATION The owner reserves the right to disqualify Bids, before or after opening, upon evidence of collusion with intent to defraud or other illegal practices upon the part of the Bidder. There will be no pre-bid walkthrough. Contractors are advised to visit the site at their convenience to understand full scope of the project. Failure to visit the site will not constitute reason for change orders on visibly evident conditions. CONTRACT TIME: If awarded the Contract, the Undersigned agrees to substantially complete all construction work under this contract within 2 months from Notice to Proceed_. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in the bidding. The Undersigned understands that the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informality or technicality in any proposal.
