The project is being bid as a single prime contract: General Construction Scope of the project is to remove and dispose of the existing condemned structure located at: 251- 253 Park Street, Malone. The building will need to be demolished completely down to the foundation as defined in specs. An asbestos survey could not be completed, and it should be assumed that building materials are asbestos containing. The demolition of the building shall be completed with all friable asbestos in place per NYS DOL Site-Specific Variances that have been prepared by the engineer. All tipping fees will be paid for by Franklin County. Failure to visit the site will not constitute reason for change orders on visibly evident conditions.
