Description The scope of work consists of rehabilitation of the existing secondary clarifier and conversion of the existing decant tank to a secondary clarifier at the Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole (KOA) Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). COMPLETION TIME: Five Hundred Forty (540) calendar days from the date indicated in the Notice to Proceed from the Department. DBE PROJECT GOAL: 4.8% LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: SEVEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS ($7,400.00) for each calendar day which the Contractor has delayed the completion of this project. The estimated cost of construction is between $5,700,000 and $5,800,000. All Request for Information (RFI) questions and Substitution Requests shall be submitted in HIePRO no later than May 30, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., HST. RFI questions received after the stated deadline shall not be addressed. Substitution Requests received after the stated deadline shall not be considered. Verbal RFI(s) shall not receive a response. All responses to RFI questions shall be provided for clarification and information only and issued by formal addendum. Any amendments to the solicitation shall be made by formal addendum and posted in online.
