Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of replacing approximately 430 designated water service lines and the associated restoration work. The purpose of the work is to replace water service lines known to contain lead or galvanized piping material, documentation of service line materials on a prescribed format, and restoration of the excavation to original condition including lawns on private property, roadways, sidewalks, and associated infrastructure. The City of Iron Mountain reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids at its discretion. No bid shall be accepted unless accompanied by a bid security payable to the City of Iron Mountain in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid.
