Renovation of a mixed-use development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Description: IDA - Flood Elimination/Interior Spaces/ Non-IDA Concrete Parapets Wall/Roofs/Exterior Masonry The project is located at 33 Fendale Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10314 (the "Site"). Only those bidders who have been invited by the SCA to submit a bid under the referenced solicitation will be eligible for a contract awarded under same. Additionally, to be eligible for an award of the referenced work, the lowest responsive bidder must be able to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the SCA during the bid evaluation period, that it has successfully completed work on a similar project in terms of cost, scope, and complexity. Phasing of work shall be scheduled and performed with the Excavation and waterproofing scope being performed before the concrete parapet/roofing/masonry envelope scope. Any areas not specifically phased, or otherwise turned over to the Contractor, in which the Contractor has performed work must be made ready for school use by the next school session. This includes cleaning and any necessary temporary provisions. A "Wicks" subcontractor is defined as a firm performing work in the HVAC, Plumbing & Gas Fitting or Electrical trades and (except for HVAC) are licensed to do business in the City of New York in that trade. The Bid Bond along with its Power of Attorney, or a certified check of five (5%) percent of the bid amount must accompany the Lump Sum Bid Form All questions by prospective bidders concerning this solicitation should be directed to rfisca@nycsca.org, in writing at least three (3) business days prior to the originally scheduled, or, if applicable, postponed bid opening date using the project solicitation number in the subject line as indicated in the following example: RFISCA 24-12345D-1 Smith and Jones Construction.
