Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Bloomingdale, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

A. Building: provide concrete slab and foundation for 50 x 80 pre-manufactured side gable metal building with no interior columns. Building contains four (4) garage bays, one of which is a pull-through with overhead doors on each side. All overhead doors are 14x14 in size with manual operation. There are two pedestrian doors, one on each side gable elevation, one being an alternate. Wall and roof insulation are alternates. Motorized overhead door operators are an alternate. B. Sitework: prepare existing open land to accept building construction work. Expand existing gravel lot to the new building and provide gravel access drive around the building from the pass-through bay. Provide trench drains in front of each overhead door. Provide underground leaders to connect to existing drainage system. Alternates include directing leaders to an underground rainwater harvesting tank and providing asphalt paving in lieu of gravel in front of the building. C. Infrastructure: provide electrical panel, receptacles, lighting, ventilation, and CO2 detectors/alarm for the new building. Extend the existing security system for the existing buildings on site to the new building. Provided motors and remotes for two (2) overhead doors in pull-through bay. Alternates include additional motors and remotes for the remaining three (3) overhead doors and an underground rainwater harvesting system for vehicle washing purposes. The project involves the construction of a new, pre-engineered metal building storage facility for the Division of Forestry. Major items of work include a new building set on concrete pad with a horizontal trench drain. The building shall consist of four bays, one with pull through access. The contractor shall engage a qualified professional engineer registered in the State of Ohio to design the entire custom, pre-engineered structure.
