The Council Bluffs Airport Authority is a tax exempt public entity. o Project will encompass two runways measuring 5500 x 100 and 3650 x 65 feet, excluding the common intersection and related safety area. o Estimated quantity of joints needing to be replaced is 73,275 feet of standard joints, and 985 feet of expansion joints. o Project specifications and materials to be compatible with FAA runway pavement requirements, including but not limited to joint size, joint shape, backer material and hot tar mix. o Cleaning the work site and removal all debris, equipment, excess materials and supplies upon completion to the satisfaction of the Airport Management and it's engineer McClure required. o Project work start date and completion dates will be considerations for contractor selection, with the owner's priority to have the work completed by the end of July, 2024. o Runway safety traffic control materials and operation to be provided by contractor under the supervision of McClure Engineering and the Council Bluffs Airport Authority Airport Management.
