Renovation of a medical facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,301-square-foot medical facility.

Pursuant to the provisions in Section 2269 of the Texas Government Code ("Chapter 2269") and related laws, the Tarrant County Hospital District d/b/a JPS Health Network (the "District") is seeking Proposals ("Proposals") from interested parties ("Respondents") qualified and experienced in providing general contractor services for JPS PAVILION SECURITY UPGRADE (the "Project"). The District will use the Competitive Sealed Proposal method and will choose the Respondent who offers the best value to the District based on the evaluation criteria described in this RFP. The selected Respondent must furnish all labor, materials and equipment required for the construction of the following improvements: modify existing Pavilion first floor lobby to improve staff, patient and visitor security. A ballistic barrier will be created and other modifications per the contract documents. The district requires the improvements to reach substantial completion by: TBD. The district requires the improvements to reach final completion by: TBD. Respondents planning to attend the Pre-Proposal Conference should RSVP, in writing, no later than May 13, 2024. Respondent agrees to comply with the applicable provisions of Texas Government Code, Title 10 General Government, Subtitle F, Chapter 2258, requiring the payment of wages to workers equal to or above the prevailing rates per diem wages in the locality of the Work. Such compliance shall include without limitation the maintenance of such records of the names, occupations and actual per diem wages paid to each of the workers, which record shall be open at all reasonable hours to the inspection of the District's representatives. Liquidated Damages. Because the District would suffer financial loss if the Project is not substantially completed on the date specified in the Bid Form (Exhibit D) and/or in the Contract Form, the Contract Form will provide that the Respondent and its surety shall be liable for and shall pay liquidated damages to the District for each date thereafter until completion Deadline for Requests. No request for interpretation or clarification or question will be answered if submitted after 12:00 pm (Noon), Central Time, on May 23, 2024. ("Written Question Deadline"). The selected Respondent must furnish all labor, materials and equipment required for the construction of the following improvements: modify existing Pavilion first floor lobby to improve staff, patient and visitor security. A ballistic barrier will be created and other modifications per the contract documents. The district requires the improvements to reach substantial completion by: TBD. Each submitted Proposal shall be binding and enforceable against the submitting Respondent for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the applicable Proposal Deadline Question Deadline 05/23/2024 at 12:00 PM CT Questions and requests for interpretation and/or clarification from interested Respondents related to the information included in the RFP Documents or for correction of any ambiguity, inconsistency or error should be directed in writing to the District via email to: Bid_Submissions@jpshealth.org.
