The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. The City of Newnan, as the "Owner," is seeking Statements of Qualifications from experienced firms interested in providing Construction Manager at Risk (CM At-Risk) services for a project known as Newnan SPLOST Park Projects, Newnan, GA . The City of Newnan reserves the right to reject any or all statements of qualifications, and to waive technicalities and informalities at the discretion of the City of Newnan. Greenville Street Park is currently a two-acre urban park nestled between Greenville Street and LaGrange Street, and Salbide Avenue The project budget is estimated to be $1,000,000.00 for Greenville Street Park and $3,000,000.000 for Bi-Centennial Park. The City of Newnan expects that 100% of project cost savings, including contingencies, will be turned over to the Owner no later than the substantial completion of the project. The project scope for Bi-Centennial Park includes but is not limited to: Retaining Walls with Ribbon Seating, Bio-Retention Pond, Pavilions, Gardens, Walkways/LINC Trailhead, Parking The Park currently features a 25-column colonnaded entrance, a terraced lawn area, and a stage that serves a small amphitheater, water fountain, and a covered pavilion. The goal for the City of Newnan is to expand this existing park to enhance public performance. Bi-Centennial Park will be a new park that is a major component of the approved SPLOST Funding.
