Renovation of an educational facility in Westfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The scope of work generally includes the renovations to the existing Wood Shop to create a new CAD Lab, Fab Lab and SRO Office, renovations to Room 123 to be converted to three separate rooms as well as renovations to Rooms 220 + 227 along with the installation of new HVAC systems to serve each space and all other associated work as specified and shown on the drawings. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening of the bids. The Westfield Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Board of Education. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Westfield Board of Education.
