Bridge Repair and Rehabilitation Program Works Questions Regarding the Above Projects May Be Directed to Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners, Procurement Services Department, 601 E. Kennedy Blvd., 25th Fl., County Center, Tampa Florida, 33602, (813) 272-5790, During Regular Business Hours. Hillsborough County is seeking qualified contractors for the Bridge Repair and Rehabilitation Job Order Contract. Work will include Countywide general maintenance, minor and major repairs to bridges, channels, seawalls, roadway, guardrail and any associated work needed. Agreement will be issued for a three-year term with a maximum payable fee up to $13,000,000. DM/DWBE Goal: In connection with this solicitation and its resulting Contract, a goal of 5% has been established for participation by DM/DWBEs as Subcontractors. To be given consideration, questions and requests for interpretation must be received no later than 14 calendar days after the date of Solicitation issuance in Bonfire, site visit, or pre-bid conference, whichever is later. See Section 4.7. The work shall consist of furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and performing all operations for placing fabric-formed concrete riprap as shown on the plans and specified herein. The slopes or surfaces to be protected shall be prepared and graded to such an extent that they are normally stable in the absence of erosive forces. The Engineer shall approve any fill material required to restore the slopes to original condition. A fabric envelope in a mat configuration shall be positioned over the surface and filled with a pumpable sand/cement grout to form a stable mat of suitable weight and configuration. Furnish, fabricate and install an integral pile jacket in accordance with the Contract Documents.
