The Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board ("JPB" or Agency"), will be seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide On-Call Design Review Services (Services) to support the JPB Capital Program Projects. The JPB intends to retain professional consulting services from the highest-ranked qualified Proposer to provide the Services, to support the planning, implementation and execution of various commuter rail related projects. Typical Work Directive Scope of Services for Engineering Services includes, but is not limited to: A. Review of bridge inspection reports B. Review of design calculations C. Review of constructability/value engineering D. Review of environmental/hazmat investigations and studies E. Development and updating of engineering standards F. Review of feasibility and planning studies G. Review of right-of-way drainage improvements H. Review of designs for structures, track and special trackwork, signals, communications, stations, and electrification and Positive Train Control facilities I. Review of proposed network designs and modifications for feasibility and integration into the existing OT architecture J. Provide technical engineering services to aid and facilitate delivery of engineering work products. The Agency, subject to Board of Directors' approval, intends to award a seven (7) year term Services to one (1) successful Proposer. The successful Proposer(s) will execute an Agreement for Services. CONSULTANT(s) must be able to deliver the Professional Services in collaboration with JPB staff, municipalities and other transportation agencies.
