Fa Proj Y001-8813-553, Orange Co., Drainage, Median Barrier & Wall Improvements - Route 9w, Towns of Cornwall & Highlands, Village of Cornwall-on-hudson This project will replace the parapet wall and improve the super elevation along the northbound lane of US Route 9W in the Town of Highlands. The roadway will also be resurfaced in both directions surrounding the parapet wall. This project will also include improvements to drainage including underdrain installation and reestablishing asphalt gutters at sufficient depths and replacement of median concrete barriers along 9W on Storm King Mountain in the Towns of Cornwall and Highlands and Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson in Orange County. The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Spring 2024. Construction is expected to begin in Summer 2024. Construction is expected to be completed in Winter 2025/2026.
