Reference Number 0000352565 This project will construct a new 185- foot tall tri-legged, self-supporting antenna tower. The tower will be constructed on a 75x75 parcel outside of City limits located on the west side of N Piney Lake Road approximately 1,000 feet south of its intersection with S Sampson Gulch Way. The new tower will provide backbone communications for both Aurora Emergency Services and Aurora Water's SCADA network. The parcel for the tower has been obtained by Aurora Water through a water service agreement with the Trails subdivision, and additional slope easements necessary to establish grades on the project site. Because the project is outside of City limits, permitting approval process has been obtained through the Douglas County Department of Community Development's Location and Extent permitting process.
