Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in River Falls, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 30,000-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The current fire station was constructed in 1955 and is 68 years old. A Public Safety Facilities Assessment study was conducted in 2017 and recommended a new shared facility with EMS. This new station will likely be used for at least the next fifty years and will need to consider the growth and needs of the community in the future. Building Size: 30,000 square ft. The project is include in the City's 2024 -2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
