Intent to award the above listed contract to Popowski Brothers Inc, T/A PBI Commercial. After review of all bids/quotes received, PBI Commercial was deemed to be the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder. To accommodate the University newly formed NCAA Division III Golf Team, minimal renovations to a 20x40x20 racquetball court is proposed to accommodate golf training equipment provided by others. In summary, work will include a new entrance door to the court, loose lay carpeting installed over the court hardwood floor, surface mounted raceway around the permitted for power and data receptacles, and acoustical sound panels on the walls and ceiling. Contractor shall at all times enforce strict discipline and good order among their workmen and shall not employ on the work any unfit person or anyone not skilled in the work assigned to him. Contractor will be responsible for securing from University Police a temporary parking permit for each vehicle required on the campus during construction. Written requests shall be made on the University provided form and submitted to the attention of Lieutenant Waller. Permits shall be visibly displayed in the vehicle when parked on the campus lot.. This is a Small Business Reserve procurement for which award is limited to certified small business vendors.
