PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The City of Wilmington requesting Bids for Air Purification Equipment Installations for multiple City of Wilmington locations. Project Summary/Scope of Work The goal of the project is to install Iwave-C (commercial) & Iwave-M (Mini Split) or an equivalent product brand approved with the Project Manager to proactively clean the air as it flows through the HVAC systems for multiple City of Wilmington locations (provided below) creating a cleaner environment in our facilities. The Invitation to Bid includes a preliminary scope of work and general terms and conditions of any subsequent contract. The scope of services as defined herein may be modified after the final selection of the contractor. The general terms and conditions are part of any submitted bid and will be incorporated into any subsequent contract. Submission of the bid shall constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions; any conditional response may be rejected. Submission of any Bid sign signifies the Contractor's agreement that their Bid and content thereof, are valid for ninety (90) calendar days following the submission deadline and will become part of the contract that is negotiated between the City of Wilmington and the successful Contractor. All prices submitted with the Bid shall remain in effect for the ninety (90) day period. Withdrawal of Bids Bids may be withdrawn at any time prior to the due date and time specified upon written or personal request of the bidder. No quote may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled opening time (if the time is specified) and date. Negligence on the part of the bidder shall not constitute a right to withdraw the quote after the bids have been opened. The City of Wilmington reserves the right to award and / or reject any and /all Bids and waive technicalities or irregularities.
