All bids received after the time stated above may not be considered and will be returned to the bidder. The bidder assumes the risk of any delay in the mail or in the handling of the mail by employees of Franklin County. Whether sent by mail or by means of personal delivery, the bidder assumes responsibility for having his bid deposited on time at the place specified. Electronic bid submissions will not be accepted.By submitting a bid, you are asking the County to accept your offer for the sale of goods and/or services. It is important that you READ and UNDERSTAND all terms and conditions contained in this Request for Bid, as well as, understand the laws that govern public contracts in New York State. Every offer shall be firm and not revocable for a minimum period of forty-five days from the bid opening. All bids shall be submitted sealed, plainly marked showing the bid name, number, and opening date of the bid, as well as, the name and address of the Bidder. SCOPE: Franklin County invites qualified, experienced contractors to submit sealed Bids for Triplex boiler feed pump skid to replace the existing pump feed skid serving the three Fulton Boilers and installation. : No Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled for this project. Contractor shall provide: A water holding tank vessel with three pumps to supply three Fulton boilers. All equipment must meet or exceed the recommendations needed to supply each boiler for the proper operation. QUESTIONS: Formal requests for clarification or questions regarding the terms of this bid should be directed in writing to Joel Perry, Assistant Purchasing Agent joel.perry@franklincountyny.gov or by fax to (518) 483-0141. Any information given to a Bidder in response to a formal request will be furnished to all Bidders as an addendum to this solicitation, if such information is deemed necessary for the preparation of the bid, or if the lack of such information would be detrimental to the submission of uniform bids. Any addenda will be sent via email or fax to all prospective bidders who have received the bid documents and these amendments will be binding on them.The County will issue no response to any request for clarification received within five (5) days of the proposal due date.
Bid shall be inclusive of:
-All the necessary labor to remove old equipment with the complete installation of new equipment
from start to finish.
-All the proper piping, electrical, hardware and equipment that is needed to perform the tasks.
-All the proper installation of insulation for both the piping and holding tank.
-System start up
