mobilization; traffic control and construction signage; clearing and grubbing including tree and vegetation trimming; removal and replacement of fence and gate; removal of a 36" concrete storm drain pipe and 24" storm drain pipe; removal of existing concrete splash pad, Sakcrete wall, and existing concrete collar; installing a new 24" HDPE storm drain pipe with filter fabric and backfilling with drain rock; connecting pipe fittings; slip lining existing concrete pipe with a 24" HDPE pipe; installing concrete slurry in the annular space between the slip lined and existing concrete pipe; installing rock slope protection; installing concrete collars; and all other miscellaneous work as shown on the Plans and as described in the Specifications to provide a complete project Bidder's attention is directed to requirements in Sections 2 and 3 of the Standard Specifications General Provisions. All bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check, or a bidder's bond executed by a corporate surety insurer. The bidder's guarantee shall be in the amount equal to at least ten (10) percent of the total bid and shall be made payable to the City of Lafayette. The successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond The Contractor shall possess a Class "A" license at the time this contract is awarded. The Engineer's cost estimate is $74,000. Time of completion allowed for this project will be twenty five (25) working days.
